Candidate for Mayor

Elliott Shem-Tov has called Jackson Township home for the past 12 years and is running for Mayor in the 2026 municipal election, as part of the "Fight for Jackson" ticket alongside Councilman Chris Pollak and council candidate Amanda Trombetta. He brings over 25 years of experience in sales leadership, program management, and business development across the technology, security, and financial services sectors, and holds a B.A. and M.S. in Cyber & Homeland Security from Fairleigh Dickinson University, along with executive education from Harvard Business School.

Elliott entered local politics as campaign manager and financier for Councilman Chris Pollak's successful 2025 council run, and has since become a regular, vocal presence at Council meetings; pressing the current administration for answers on spending, staffing, and transparency.

His values are straightforward: government should work for residents, not insiders. That means every taxpayer-funded position should have a clear purpose, every dollar should be accounted for, and every resident should get the same fair treatment regardless of who they know at Town Hall.

His vision for Jackson is a township run like a well-managed business; fiscally disciplined, professionally staffed, and honestly communicated with the public; where growth strengthens the tax base instead of straining it, and where the mayor's office answers to residents first, in the community he's called home for over a decade.
