Chris Pollak is a husband, father, tradesman, small business owner, and martial arts instructor who moved to Jackson to build a life and raise his family. Like so many residents, he chose Jackson because of its strong neighborhoods, beautiful environment, and the values that made it a great place to call home.

As Chris watched the direction of the township change, he became increasingly concerned with the way local government was operating. He saw overdevelopment, political insiders putting special interests ahead of residents, and decisions that threatened Jackson’s environment and quality of life. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, he started speaking up, asking tough questions, and pushing back against the political establishment. When he realized the people of Jackson weren’t being represented, he decided to run for Township Council.

In 2025, the people of Jackson sent a clear message. Chris won his election with more than 61% of the vote and winning by more than 5,000 votes in a decisive victory for change.

Since taking office, Chris has worked every day to fight for the people of Jackson. He has voted against higher-density development, opposed development in the Pinelands and other environmentally sensitive areas, worked to strengthen environmental protections, supported increasing developer fees so growth pays its fair share, fought against illegal and overcrowded rentals, called out conflicts of interest, opposed pay-to-play politics, and consistently stood up to protect Jackson’s environment, neighborhoods, and quality of life.

Chris believes elected officials should answer to the people, not political insiders or special interests. That’s why he has never accepted and never will accept campaign contributions from developers or anyone seeking to profit from decisions made in Jackson.

For too long, special interests, pay-to-play politics, and the party machine have controlled the direction of our town. Chris has been fighting to break that system from the day he announced his campaign, and he believes this election is our opportunity to restore a government that works for the people, not the politically connected.

Chris is committed to protecting Jackson’s environment, preserving open space, promoting responsible development, enforcing the law fairly, and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same community that so many families, including his own, chose to call home.
